In my pieces, I write my ways with hope to right them.

My name is Omar Sanchez, born and raised in the upper parts of New York City, tortured by my ingrained daddy issues but raised by a beautiful strong Dominican mother who’s oblivious of her strength.

I attempt to express what I suppress via experiences, encounters, and thoughts that best satisfy what I feel when I try to uncover the young boy in me hiding behind the façade of Me.

PS: Many of my short stories are written from a woman’s perspective because it’s easier to speak of the effect than the cause.
